14 of our Year 10 Students here at Woolwich Polytechnic School for Boys have been successful in acquiring a place at a University Taster Week at City, University of London.

The taster weeks start in February and run right through till June, where students will attend one week Monday-Friday 10am-3.30pm.

The subjects that students will be learning about include Psychology, Engineering, Business & Enterprise, Creative Industries and Law & Criminology. These taster weeks enable students to take part in academic lectures, seminars, practical work, group discussions as well as meeting current staff and students, developing key skills along the way.

Undergraduate students will act as ambassadors throughout these taster weeks giving our Year 10 students the ability to find out first-hand what life is really like at university.
