Ruky - Year 9 student releases debut single in honour of Osteogenesis Imperfecta Disease

Monday 27th March 2023

Ruky-Star, a Year 9 student from Woolwich Polytechnic School for Boys features today in the Newsshopper!

Ruky-Star was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta – more commonly known as brittle bone disease.

He has undergone several surgeries as a result of his condition, including a major spinal surgery which kept him away from his school.

In honour of his disease, and other children who may be suffering with the same, Ruky has released his debut single Watch Me Now. You can listen to the single on YouTube here.

Here at WPSfB we are incredibly proud of Ruky and everything he has achieved.

Ruky and his family are raising funds for the Brittle Bone Society as part of his birthday celebration. They have told us that their support all through the years has made their journey less difficult - If you would like to donate click here: https://www.justgiving.com/bbs
